Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Blocks: The Modern Building Solution
Building Smarter with AAC Blocks
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Blocks are among the most advanced building materials available today. Designed to be lightweight yet durable, AAC blocks offer excellent thermal insulation, fire resistance, soundproofing, and construction efficiency. It is 580psi and 750psi variant . Sizes is 600mm x300mm and 600mm x 200mm respectively.Once you order AAC there is an equivalent ratio for the number of AAC Adhesive that will be use and will be included in the formal quotation
The project images shown below demonstrate how AAC blocks are delivered, handled, and installed in actual construction projects, helping builders achieve faster project completion while maintaining superior quality.
The History of AAC Blocks
AAC was first developed in Sweden during the 1920’s by architect and inventor Dr. Johan Axel Eriksson. His goal was to create a building material that combined the strength and durability of concrete with the lightweight and insulating properties of wood.
After extensive research and testing, AAC quickly gained popularity throughout Europe and eventually expanded worldwide. Today, AAC blocks are used in residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare facilities because of their exceptional performance and sustainability.Today, AAC has been widely used all over the world including the Philippines in Southeast Asia.
Components of AAC Blocks
AAC blocks are manufactured using a precisely controlled mixture of:
• Cement
• Fine silica sand or fly ash
• Lime
• Water
• Aluminum powder (used as an aerating agent)
Gypsum Powder
During production, the aluminum powder reacts with the mixture and forms millions of microscopic air pockets. The blocks are then cured under high-pressure steam inside an autoclave, producing a lightweight yet strong construction material.
Key Features of AAC Blocks
Lightweight Construction
AAC blocks weigh significantly less than traditional concrete hollow blocks, reducing structural dead loads and foundation requirements.
Excellent Thermal Insulation
The cellular structure of AAC provides outstanding heat insulation, helping maintain comfortable indoor temperatures and reducing energy costs.
Superior Fire Resistance
AAC is a non-combustible material capable of providing several hours of fire protection.
Sound Insulation
Its porous structure effectively absorbs sound and reduces noise transmission between rooms.
High Dimensional Accuracy
Factory-controlled manufacturing ensures uniform sizes and straighter walls, minimizing plastering requirements.
Eco-Friendly Material
AAC consumes fewer raw materials and contributes to sustainable construction practices.
Benefits of Using AAC Blocks
✔ Faster installation and construction
✔ Reduced structural loads
✔ Lower labor costs
✔ Energy-efficient buildings
✔ Excellent fire protection
✔ Improved sound insulation
✔ Less material waste
✔ Smoother wall finishes
✔ Long-term durability
AAC Blocks in Modern Construction
The project shown above demonstrates how AAC blocks can be efficiently installed to create clean, straight, and durable wall systems. Their lightweight nature allows workers to handle larger block sizes with ease, significantly increasing productivity on-site.
AAC blocks are ideal for:
• Residential developments
• Commercial buildings
• Warehouses
• Schools and universities
• Hospitals and healthcare facilities
• Hotels and resorts

PP Hollow Board: Lightweight, Durable, and Versatile Construction Protection Solution
What is PP Hollow Board?
PP Hollow Board, also known as Polypropylene Hollow Sheet, is a lightweight yet highly durable plastic panel widely used in construction, packaging, advertising, and industrial applications. Due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, moisture resistance, and reusability, PP Hollow Board has become a preferred material for site protection, temporary barriers, formwork protection, floor protection, and various construction-related applications.
Its hollow-core structure provides rigidity while maintaining a lightweight design, making it easy to transport, install, and reuse.
History of PP Hollow Board
Polypropylene (PP) was first developed in the 1950s and quickly became one of the world's most widely used thermoplastics due to its durability, chemical resistance, and cost-effectiveness.
The development of PP Hollow Board emerged as industries sought a lightweight alternative to wood, cardboard, and metal sheets. Through extrusion technology, manufacturers created a corrugated hollow-core structure that significantly improved strength while reducing material weight.
Today, PP Hollow Boards are extensively used in construction, logistics, agriculture, packaging, signage, and manufacturing industries worldwide.
Components of PP Hollow Board
PP Hollow Boards are manufactured primarily from:
• Virgin Polypropylene (PP) Resin
• UV Stabilizers (for outdoor applications)
• Color Additives and Pigments
• Impact Modifiers (depending on application)
• Anti-static or Flame-retardant Additives (optional)
The material is extruded into a twin-wall hollow structure, creating multiple air chambers that enhance strength and rigidity without adding significant weight.
Key Features of PP Hollow Board
Lightweight Design
PP Hollow Boards are significantly lighter than plywood, metal sheets, and many traditional protective materials.
High Impact Resistance
The board can withstand handling, transportation, and construction site activities without cracking or breaking easily.
Water and Moisture Resistant
Unlike cardboard or wood-based materials, PP Hollow Boards do not absorb water, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Chemical Resistance
They resist most acids, alkalis, oils, and industrial chemicals.
Reusable and Long-Lasting
PP Hollow Boards can be reused multiple times, reducing material waste and project costs.
Easy to Fabricate
They can be cut, printed, folded, die-cut, welded, and assembled into various configurations.
Environmentally Friendly
Polypropylene is recyclable, helping support sustainable construction and packaging practices.
Benefits of Using PP Hollow Board
✔ Excellent protection for floors, walls, doors, windows, and finished surfaces
✔ Cost-effective alternative to plywood and other temporary protection materials
✔ Lightweight and easy to install
✔ Reusable for multiple projects
✔ Waterproof and weather-resistant
✔ Durable against impacts and abrasions
✔ Easy to transport and store
✔ Recyclable and environmentally responsible
✔ Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
